Post-Grad

There's this quaint custom here among the alumni of Korean high schools or at least this high school. When they come back to visit with teachers they bring a box of fruit juice - so far Del Monte grape and orange or one of the many Korean Vitamin drinks seem to be popular choices - and share them with their former teachers as they chat.  Two lovely alumni just left our office and they even left an extra box of juice for us.  

It's a feeling I think I'd like to have, that affirmation of my labor as a teacher.  There's one student in my class that told me last year that his class is my favorite.  I wonder if he still thinks that way.  Would he come back to give me juice a year or two from now?  I don't even know his name.
